However, we want to stress, we have designed the Artisan Forager not just to be used solely for bushcraft purposes. The pouch makes a great all-around utility pouch. I personally also use them for carrying dog treats and storing tools.
- The belt loop will accommodate most belts. The maximum width of the loop is 50mm / 2". When not in use, the bag neatly folds down and can be snapped closed. The pouch folds down to 76mm 3" (W) 90mm x 3.5" (L) x 30mm 1.25" (D).
- We handmake the pouches using a combination of thick 12oz and 8oz canvas, making it especially durable for heavy day-to-day or outdoor use. The pouch has been stamped with Forest Fundamentals' logo - the silk embossing method used is also waterproof and extremely resistant to cracking.
- The Martexin Original Wax used to waterproof the pouches, produces a superior finish that is virtually water-proof. The Martexin Original Wax is made using a friendly blend of food-grade waxes and is completely non-hazardous. This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to weathering and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina.
