This item was designed as a support pouch for our original SEAL rigs and has stuck with Original S.O.E. Gear ever since. They are a unique fit and carry more than their size implies. Thanks to their smaller dimensions these fit on a lot of rigs where a larger GP pouch would be too much, or wouldn't work correctly.

Many common orders we receive for these intend to use them to hold miscellaneous back-up gear; going back to the beginning of their life when John Willis worked only for the men at Coronado, we've seen them filled with seven PowerBars, three double stack pistol magazines (for topping up real magazine pouches), an IR strobe and a bandage, or a compass and bandage. We have never stopped seeing uses for this size of pouch; it is small enough to be forgotten but large enough to carry that little extra "something".
